Es geht jetzt weiter mit der Übersetzung der Studie zur „nationalen Identität“ der GriechInnen und TürkInnen. Dies ist der dritte Teil der Übersetzung. Hier geht es zum ersten Teil und zum zweiten Teil.

Interesting that on both sides there is fear for the other religion.
But fear for neo nationalism is higher in Greece than Turkey.

I didn t interpret it as fear.

I thought it s more like a clichee like "the greek is a democrat, not extreme nationalist, christian orthodox and so on..."

after giving it a second thought, I think, that yes, of course you are right, it is fear (not only a clichee). See also the answer "homosexual", which is somehow a measured homophobia.
